Hoeft, Ottelia (4 November 1889 – 14 December 1978)

Mrs. Ottelia Hoeft, 89, a resident of the Neillsville Memorial Home, passed away Thursday, December 14, in the Neillsville Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 4, 1889, in Tigerton. On October 29, 1913, she was married in Canada to Frank Hoeft and then lived on a farm in the Town of Lynn for many years.

Surviving her is one son, Ray Hoeft, Granton; three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Frances) Drescher and Mrs. Steve (Eileen) Le Pori, both of Granton, and Mrs. Ervin (Arlene) Anderegg, Loyal; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, who passed away November 29, 1958, also three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services were held from the Zion Lutheran Church, Granton, on Sunday, December 17, with the Gilbertson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The Rev. Horst Augustin officiated for Mrs. Hoeft, and she was buried in the Windfall Cemetery at Granton. Pallbearers were Richard Drescher, William Hoeft, Jack and Bob Anderegg, Dale Braatz and Steve Le Pori, Jr. Vocal music was offered by Mrs. Walter Helm, accompanied by Mrs. Roger Helm.
