Ludwig, Julia Ann (15 April 1983)

St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby, was the setting April 15 for the wedding of Miss Julia Ann Ludwig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Ludwig, Colby, and Patrick John Brill, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Brill of Route 1, Colby.

The Very Rev. Raymond J. Pedretti officiated at the service at which the bride was given in marriage by her father. Singers were Cindy Schaffer and Mike Brill and the organist was Cathy Nosbisch.

An Edwardian gown of organza and chantilly lace with chapel train and a matching picture hat with fingertip veil were worn by the bride, who carried a bouquet of pink and white rosebuds and pink and white carnations.

Miss Pam Smith of Marshalltown, Iowa, was maid of honor while Jody Schmitt of Milladore, Pam Stange of Abbotsford and Kim Brill were bridesmaids. They carried white lave fans with pink carnations and burgundy roses and their white and pink floral gowns were of fabric and lace.

Melissa Kopp was flower girl; Craig Orth, the ring bearer. Best man was Mark Kilty, Route 1 Unity. Groomsmen were Daniel Ludwig, Kevin Lynn and Brian Brill and ushering were Gary Ludwig and Jim Brill.

The reception was at The Sword. After a wedding trip through eastern states, the Brills will live in Abbotsford.

The bride graduated in 1981 at Colby High School, which her fiance also attended. She has been working for Land O'Lakes and he is a truck driver.
