Two Abbotsford High School Forensic students receive “A” ratings at the district
forensic contest at UW-Stevens Point on Saturday, and have earned the right to
compete in the state forensic contest to be held at the UW-Madison on April 22,
1972.
Barbara Morschhauser, an A.F.S student from Germany, read the poem, “The Owl
Critic.” Pattie Merwin presented a prose selection from the Grapes of Wrath.
Christine York was awarded a “B” rating for her original oration, “Hearing
Unaware.”
The forensic coach is Mrs. Margaret Gorke.
