Cormia, Ellen R. (8 April 1978)

A Chicago honeymoon was planned for the new Mr. and Mrs. Everett Wessel after their marriage, April 8, at the Zion United Church of Christ, Greenwood. The bride, Ellen R. Cormia, Milwaukee, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith C. Cormia, Franklin. The groom’s parent is Mrs. Adolph Wessell, Rt. 3 Greenwood.

The bride was attired in a long white gown with lace and pearl accents and satin jeweled, all made by the bride, was presented by her father at the altar. She also wore a waist length veil edged in pearls and carried silk colonial mixed wild flowers, again arranged by her.

The matron of honor, Mrs. James (Susan) Conrardy, Milwaukee, wore a gown of blue crepe, homemade by the mother of the bride. She also carried silk flowers of white, light blue and deep blue bachelor’s buttons. Bestman at the wedding was Emmett Wessel, Sheboygan, brother of the groom. Ushers were James Conrardy, Milwaukee, and Frank Horn, Thorp.

“The Wedding Song,” and “Sunrise, Sunset” were offered by Candy Horn as a soloist, accompanied by Linda Dallman.

The reception was held after the 3:30 p.m. services at the Greenwood Legion Hall.

The groom holds a two year degree in electronics from Wausau Technical Institute and is a supervisor in the industrial controls department of Allan-Bradley, Milwaukee. The bride holds a two year degree in horticulture from Kenosha Technical Institute and works as a methods and time specialist for General Electric of Milwaukee. The couple will reside at 3662 South 82nd Street, Milwaukee.
