Stark, Mr./Mrs. Ferdinand (63rd – 14 Apr 1972)

Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Stark of Sparta, who celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary, were honored at a family dinner at the home of their granddaughter, Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Cameron at La Crosse on April 15, 1972.

The couple was married April 14, 1909 in Edgar and farmed in the Town of Wien until they moved to Sparta in 1949.

They have three daughters, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Schmidtke and Mrs. John (Effie) Peterson of Sparta, and Mrs. Francis (Ruth) Collins of La Crosse; two sons, Clifford, a retired Marin Corps officer pilot, of Garden Grove, California, and Harvey on the home farm on Edgar Rt. 1, who also operates a Floral Shop and green house; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
