Hoeser, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Golden – 24 April 1978)

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoeser celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on April 22 with an open house at their home from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., followed by a dinner and dance at the Riviera Supper Club. One of the original attendants, Mrs. Kate (Hoeser) Hunsel, was present for the occasion. George Ziglinski was unable to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Hoeser were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Neillsville, on April 24, 1928.

Mrs. Hoeser wore a long blue jacket gown. Her corsage was of pink roses with gold leaves and ribbon. Mr. Hoeser wore a dark green suit and a whit rose with gold leaves boutonniere. A blessing and a Mass was said at St. Mary’s for the couple.

A wedding cake was made by their daughter, Gerri Schultz. It had three tiers decorated with white frosting, gold roses and leaves with a gold slipper and rings with a “50” on top surrounded with gold ribbon.

Rozina (Ziglinski) Hoeser was born in the Town of Grant and attended Washington School. Mr. Hoeser was born in the Town of York and went to Loyal schools. The Hoesers are retired farmers and live on West 18th Street, Neillsville. They both have good health and enjoy gardening and playing cards.

Six children were born to the couple, Donald, Marshfield; Mrs. Dale (Geraldine) Schultz, Neillsville; Norbert, Neillsville; Mrs. Harold (Jeanette) Spencer, Marshfield; Mrs. Charles (Julia) Krostag, Hobart, In.; and Philip, Faribault, Mn.; and 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Out of town guests were Mrs. Tress Wanger; Kate Hunsel; Bertha Brietback; the John Brietback family of Bloomington, Il.; Doline Schlepp, Circle, Mt.; Anne Daugherty; Sister Delarnee-Mary Ann, Pine River, Mn.; Father Jerome Hoeser, Wausau; Theresa Hoeser, La Crosse; Mr./Mrs. Leon Hoeser, Loyal; Mr./Mrs. Donald Hoeser and family, Mr./Mrs. Harold Spencer, of Marshfield; Mr./Mrs. Dennis Krause, Hustisford; Mr./Mrs. Charles Krostag and family, Hobart, In.; Mr./Mrs. Philip Hoeser and family, Faribault, Mn; and Mr./Mrs. Terry Huff, Marshfield also, many relatives and friends from Loyal, Neillsville, Granton and Withee attended.
