Kiefer, Rose Mary (15 Apr 1972)

St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford, was the setting for the marriage of Miss Rose Mary Kiefer, Abbotsford, and Kenneth M. Solberg, Medford, on Saturday afternoon, April 15, 1972 at 2:30.

The Rev. Emil Hodnik, pastor, performed the nuptial ceremony, with Mrs. Dan Decker, organist.

Miss Kiefer was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kiefer, Abbotsford, to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Solberg, Medford.

Wearing a white floor length gown of rayon organza with a detachable train, and a veil attached to a Camelot hat, the flower arrangement of pink roses, carnations, lily of the valley and stephanotis.

Miss Pat Zdrojkowski, Thorp, served as the maid of honor, and Mrs. Randall Van Blaricon, Abbotsford, was the brides matron.

They wore floor length pink flocked nylon organza flower gowns with white straw hats, and carried white basket with pink roses and pink and white daisies.

Steve Ackeret, Medford, was the best man, Bill Zirngible, Medford, groomsman, and ushers were Randy Solberg and Dan Kiefer.

Flower girls were Patricia and Michelle Kiefer, and Eric Solberg was ring bearer.

A reception, dinner and dance were held at the Dorchester Memorial Hall, Dorchester.

Mrs. Solberg is a 1969 graduate of Abbotsford High School and has been employed at I.T.T. Midwestern Life Insurance, Thorp. Her husband, a 1969 graduate of Medford High School, is employed at Hurd’s Millwork, Medford.
