Brechlin, Ella (10 May 1893 – 11 May 1972)

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Dorchester for Mrs. Edmund Brechlin, 79, who died at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. The Rev. F. M. Sprengler officiated and burial was in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Kenneth, James, Daniel, Art, and Donald Paul, and Eldred Empey. Maurina Funeral Home was in charge.

The former Ella Paul was born May 10, 1893 in the Town of Little Black, Taylor County. She was married June 3, 1914 to Edmund Brechlin at St. Peter’s Church. Following their marriage they lived in Chippewa Falls until 1927, and then moved to a farm in the Town of Mayville, where they have lived since.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Church and the Sewing Circle of the church.

She is survived by her husband, two brothers, Henry Paul and Edgar Paul, and one sister, Mrs. Louise Brunner, all of the Town of Little Black. Four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
