Gaier, Marie (20 Apr 1917 – 1952?)

Mrs. Louis Gaier Jr., age 35, 409 Irvine Street, passed away at 2:55 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at St. Joseph’s Hospital, after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Gaier was born Marie Poirier April 30, 1917, in the Town of Howard. She was united in marriage to Louis Gaier Jr at Notre Dame Church in 1935.

Mrs. Gaier is survived by her husband and three children, two daughters, Yvonne and Patricia, and one son, Charles; her father, Thomas Poirier of Cadott; her mother, Mrs. Marie Poirier of Rock Island, Ill., and two sisters, Mrs. Gilmer (Ella) Gutknecht and Mrs. Hans (Evelyn) Paulson, of Chippewa Falls.

Friends may call at the LaFrania Funeral Home from this evening, Wednesday, until the time of the funeral. Services will be held at nine o’clock Friday morning at Holy Ghost Church, with interment in Calvary Cemetery.

The rosary will be recited Thursday night at eight o’clock at the funeral home.
