Baehr, Bonnie (18 Aug 1972)

United in marriage on Friday evening, August 18, 1972 in a candlelight ceremony were Bonnie Baehr, River Falls and Ronald Lynn, Colby. The marriage was performed by Pastor David Ault at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Spencer. Parents of the bride groom are Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Lynn of Colby.

Given in marriage by Malcolm ?ale of Chicago, the bride wore an A-line flor length gown of chiffon over bridal satin, featuring an empire waist. The square neckline bodice was covered by individual assorted ?zes of daisies. The short bell sleeves featured daisy trim also, matched choker and chapel sweep train completed the bridal gown.

The long veil featured a daisy headpiece and daisy trim all around. The bridal bouquet was of white majestic daisies and baby’s breath entwined with ivy.

Matron of honor was Mrs. James ?resnehan, Madison. She wore a blue dotted Swiss gown with square neckline and matching choker and wore a blue large brimmed hat. She carried a basket of blue daisies, baby’s breath and ivy.

Bridesmaids were Miss Priscilla Wilber, Milwaukee and Mrs. Bart Sheffer, Lodi, Wis. They wore pink and yellow dotted Swiss dresses, respectively and carried baskets of pink and yellow daisies.

A miniature bride attired in a gown similar to the bride’s was Becky Baehr, Unity. She carried a basket of pink, blue and yellow daisies. Ring bearer was John Lynn of Unity.

Best man was Dan Brehm, Colby, and groomsmen were Jim Mohan, Spencer and Terry Lynn of Milwaukee.

A reception, dinner and dance were held at Dorchester Memorial Hall in Dorchester.

The bride is a 1967 graduate of Colby High School and a 1971 graduate of UW-Eau Claire. She is a teacher at Westside Elementary in River Falls.

The groom is a 1965 graduate of Colby High School and presently is a student at UW-River Falls.

The couple will make their home at 503 N. Winter, River Falls.
