Sizer, Judith Marie (11 November 1978)

St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenwood, served as the site for exchange of wedding vows, November 11, between Judith Marie Sizer, Rt. 3, Greenwood, and David Paul Jasurda, Reedsville. The parents of the bride ae Mr. and Mrs. James T. Sizer, Rt. 3 Greenwood, and the parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jasurda, 402 N. Main St., Greenwood.

With the Rev. Houston officiating, the father of the bride presented her to her new husband and the altar at the beginning of the 1:00 p.m. ceremonies.

The bride chose an ivory, nylon-knit, empire-styled gown with a V-neckline, glowing skirt and fingertip sleeves. She carried a cascade of white carnations and cushion mums.

Serving as maid of honor was Amy Sizer, a sister of the bride, who wore a polyester knit gown with full tiered lace trimmed, nutmeg colored skirt, completed with a ruffled bodice. She carried daisy and cushion mums of burgundy and gold. Flower girl was Jennifer Ruhnau, niece of the bride, from Brown Deer.

Best man was Rick Birkett, Greenwood, ushering were Jeff Jasurda, La Crosse, and Wolfgang Ruhnau, Brown Deer.

Deb Aumann, self-accompanied on the guitar, offered musical selections, including “The Wedding Song” and “Song Bird.”

Following the services, a dinner was held at the Meadowview Country Club, Owen, followed by a reception and dance at the Amber Inn, Loyal.

The bride is a 1977 graduate of Greenwood High School and in 1978 from District I Technical Institute-Eau Claire. The groom is also a 1977 graduate of Greenwood High and in 1978 from District I Tech. He is employed by the Ariens Company, Brillion. The couple were to make a Milwaukee wedding trip and then take up residence in Reedsville.
