Wiesner, Tammy (17 March 1979)

In an afternoon, March 17 setting St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neillsville, wedding vows were exchanged between Tammy Wiesner and Gary Primeau. The Rev. Norman Lindloff officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Leo and Florence Wiesner, Neillsville, and the groom is the son of Ervin and Francise Primeau, Abbotsford. Presented at the altar by her father, the bride caried red roses, white carnations and baby’s breath. She chose a chiffon gown with bodice lace and empire waist and a Juliet cap with lace and pearls.

Maid of honor was Diane Tresemer, Neillsville, who was joined by the bride’s sister, Annette, of Neillsville and Debra Oestreich of Loyal. With all carrying similar flowers to the brides. Diane wore a a pink chiffon gown while the other girls wore yellow and blue chiffon dresses.

Bestman was Thomas Firnstahl of Colby. He was joined by Robert Wetzel and David Oestreich. All were attired in blue tuxedos. Ushering were Tim Tresemer of Neillsville and Ervin Primeau of Abbotsford. Serving as ringbearer was Donald Wiesner, brother of the bride, and Rita Roehl, a cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

A reception at the Neillsville American Legion Hall followed the wedding and the couple opted to take a summer honeymoon. To reside on Rt. 4, Neillsville, the new Mrs. Primeau is employed at the Neillsville Memorial Home. She is a 1978 graduate of Neillsville High School. The groom, a 1974 graduate of Abbotsford High School, is employed by Pirkle Refrigeration of Madison.
