Merced, California – U.S. Air Force Airman Stanley A. Burzynski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley J. Burzynski of Route 3, Thorp, Wisconsin, has helped his unit at Castle AFB, California win the annual PRIDE (Professional Results in Daily Efforts) award.

A fuels specialist, Airman Burzynski and his unit, the 93rd Supply Squadron, were cited for their outstanding efforts in the PRIDE program to reduce operational costs and increase unit efficiency and combat readiness.

The 93rd is part of the Strategic Air Command, America’s nuclear deterrent force of long range bombers and intercontinental ballistic missiles.

The airman attended Thorp High School and completed the requirements for his diploma after entering the service.
