Galstad, Marilyn (28 April 1979)

In Satruday afternoon ceremonies, April 28, Marilyn Galstad was wed to Don Struckmeyer. The Revs. Paul Forde and Daniel Litzer, present and former pastors of Calvary Lutheran Church, officiated at the Neillsville Church service. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Galstad, Neillsville, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Struckmeyer, Bloomington, Mn.

With the father of the bride presenting her to the altar, Stan Galstad, brother of the bride, offer3ed solo selections, accompanied by Leroy Johnson on the organ and Carolyn Borgen on the harp.

Serving as maid of honor was Mary Jo Short of Marshfield, who was joined by Mrs. David Oechaine of Minneapolis and kathy Struckmeyer, sister of the groom, from Bloomington. Elizabeth Galstad and Adam Sokolski were flower girl and ring bearer.

Serving as bestman was Scott Ayers of Denver, Co. He was joined by Bruce Hermanson and Dane Johnson, both of Minneapolis. Ushering were Terry Galstad and Stan Struckmeyer.

After a reception held at the church, the couple left on a wedding trip to New York City. The couple will make their home in the Twin Cities. The bride is a 1978 graduate of St. Olaf College, St. Peter, Mn., and is employed at the Minneapolis brokerage firm. The groom is a 1976 graduate of the same college and is employed at the Third Northwest Bank in Minneapolis.
