Oestreich, Rhonda Rae (28 April 1979)

Wedding vows were exchanged Saturday afternoon, April 28, in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, between Rhonda Rae Oestreich and Edwin P. Bauer. The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Oestreich, Rt. 1 Loyal, and the broom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Bauer, Rt. 1 Greenwood.

With the Rev. Chester Osowski officiating, the nuptial preceded a reception, dinner and dance at the Loyal American Legion Hall.

The bride, carrying a bouquet of white carnations, baby’s breath, pink roses and greens, chose a floor-length gown, featuring rose painted lace, pearl trimming, crystal pleats, a Queen Anne neckline, bishop sleeves and a skirt sweeping to a chapel train. Her veil had matching edges and was finger -tip length.

Mrs. Michael Braun of Loyal was matron of honor. She was joined by Marla and Marcia Stange of Neenah, Mrs. Robert Trimble of Loyal and Sue Able of Eau Claire. They donned daisy and carnation wrist corsages and were attired in sheer Dacron gowns in blue, yellow, pine green and lavender with cape necklines and tiered skirts with matching parasols.

John Bauer, Granton, was bestman, and he was joined by Tom Bauer of Greenwood, Gordon Reinwand of Chili and Chris Gadke and Michael Braun of Loyal. Ushering were Randy Rodrigues and Wayne Murphy, both of Waukesha. John Noeldner and Jennifer Oswald, both of Marshfield, were ring bearer and flower girl.

The couple till make their home on Rt. 1 Greenwood. He is a 1973 graduate of Loyal High School, and is employed with O.W. Trindal Company in Loyal, and she, a 1975 graduate of the same high school, is also employed at the same business.
