Granton FFA Elects Officers (1979)
Granton FFA members elected new officers for next year at a meeting held this
past week. Selected were Marvin Richmond, president; Nanette Daleiden,
vice-president; Mary Drescher, secretary; Larry Lemons, treasurer; Rick Osborn,
reporter; and Mark Schmitz, sentinel.
The new officers will be installed at an FFA awards program, Monday evening, May
7.
Kevin Winter, sophomore, continues his winning ways, in FFA as his calf placed
third out of 36 entered in the Doboy calf sale, held this past week in
Marshfield. He also was on of ten finalists in showmanship. His calf sold for
$1800 in the sale.
