Schmidt, Susan (5 May 1979)

Susan Schmidt and Neal Lonning were wed in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville in afternoon ceremonies, May 5. The Rev. Joseph Henseler officiated. The bride, an Altoona resident if the daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Schmidt, Neillsville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gale Lonning, Rt. 3 Neillsville.

Presenting the bride to the altar and her new husband was Gerald Schmidt. Mrs. Darlene Kuehnel was matron of honor. Joy Lonning joined her in the bride’s party.

Ivan Karl was bestman and he was joined by David Michalak. Ushering were David Schmidt and Mark Buffington.

A reception at the Neillsville American Legion Hall followed the wedding with the couple taking a Florida trip. The couple will make their home on Rt . 4 Neillsville.
