Chet Slipek and Kathy Frinack have qualified to receive the State Farmer Degree
this year at the Future Farmers of America State Convention, which will be held
June 11, 12, 13. Chet, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Slipek of RR 1, Thorp, has a
very outstanding dairy project, owning several Registered Holsteins of his own.
Kathy, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Frinack Jr. of RR 3, Thorp, carries
dairy and horses as her supervised occupation experience program.
