The appointment and transfer of William S. Babbitt as Assistant Manager of the Thorp Finance Corporation office in Eau Claire has been announced by Jean C. Broeron, Executive Vice President. Selected to succeed him as Assistant Manager of the firm’s office in Menomonie was David L. Gilbertson, formerly Assistant Manager of the office in Ladysmith.

Gilberts previously served in the Thorp offices at Antigo, Medford and Ladysmith, and prior to that attended the North Central Technical Institute.

Prior to his Eau Claire assignment Babbitt worked at the firm’s office in Whitehall, Sparta and Menomonie, and prior to that he attended Thorp High School and served in the U.S. Navy.

David is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbertson of Thorp, and William is the son of Myrtle Babbitt of Thorp.
