Wolf, Renee (2 June 1979)

St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal was the site for the wedding rites shared by Renee Wolf, 401 Elm Drive, Loyal, and Rodney Schoen, Neillsville, on the afternoon of June 2.

With the Rev. Chester Osowski officiating, the bride was presented to the altar by her brother, Norman Wolf, Loyal. She is the daughter of Mrs. Mildren Wolf, Loyal, and the groom is the son of Walter and Helen Schoen, Neillsville.

Arnold Wolf of Chili and Laurette Bauer of Greenwood offered vocal selections, accompanied by Janeen Schmitz of Granton.

The bride chose an A-line gown of satin in a print style with rose-print lace and a matching veil in trin-length, falling from a Camelot headpiece. She carried a bouquet of blue and green roses, yellow and pink carnations and baby’s breath.

Ruth Karlen of Loyal was the maid of honor. She was joined by Mrs. Dennis Fleischmann of Granton, Mrs. Dennis Wolf of Hewitt and Karlette Schoen of Stevens Point. They were attired in A-line, light-green print satin gowns and carried bouquets similar to the brides. Jacqueline Wolf of Hewitt and Jacob Haselow of Eau Claire served as miniature bride and groom.

Terry Luchterhand, Neillsville, was the best man. He was assisted by Dennis Fleischmann of Granton, Dennis Wolf of Hewitt and Randal Wold of Eau Claire. Ushering were Larry Wolf of Lindsay and Floyd Schoen of Neillsville.

Following the service, a reception and dance was held at the Loyal Legion Hall, the couple then left on a wedding trip to Colorado and Nebraska.

The bride is a 1979 graduate of Loyal High School, and the groom is a 1974 graduate of Neillsville High School. He is presently a press operator for Nelson Muffler in Neillsville. The couple will reside on Rt. 3 Neillsville.
