Kovar, Joseph J. (19 June 1915 – 13 June 1979)

Joseph J. Kovar, 63, of Merrillan did Wednesday , June 13, in Black River Memorial Hospital, Black River Falls, following a heart attack. He was born June 19, 1915, in Wheeler, Dunn County, to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Kovar. He has worked as a laborer.

Survivors include four brothers, Leo of Merrillan, James of Janesville, Sylvester of Owen and Peter of Altoona, and a sister, Mrs. Fred (Margaret) Magray of Kansasville.

Services were held Saturday morning in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Alma Center with the Rev. Joseph Marx officiating. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Alma Center. Jensen Funeral Home at Hixton was in charge of the arrangements.
