Schoenherr, Jacalyn Jean (16 June 1979)

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville was the June 16 afternoon site for the wedding of Jacalyn Jean Schoenherr and Stephen John Brorson.

The bride, who resided in Eau Claire, is the daughter of Adeline Schoenherr, Neillsville, and the parents of the rural Granton groom are Mr. and Mrs. William Brorson, White Pigeon, Michigan.

Ron Schoenherr, St. Paul, Mn., brother of the bride, gave her away. The Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiated while “The Lord’s Prayer” was the musical selection offered by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tess.

The bride chose a gown featuring a Juliette-style bodice, long lace sleeves, empire waist and cathedral train. She also wore a Juliette-style cap trimmed with a lace finger-tip veil. She carried a Carmen bouquet of red roses, white carnations and ivy.

Marla Raine, Neillsville, was the matron of Honor and Kay Schoenherr of Madison, Phyllis Beck of Neillsville and Marilyn Schoenherr of Madison assisted as bridesmaids. They wore gowns of floral blue and cream organza and carried colonial bouquets of yellow carnations, daisies and baby’s breath.

Barry Klotz was bestman and he was joined by William Donahue, Brian McKevitt and Jeff DeMert, all of Neillsville. Ushering were William Brorson, White Pigeon, Mil, and Marvin Schoenherr, Neillsville.

A reception at the Neillsville American Legion Hall followed the wedding services.

The bride, a 1977 graduate of Neillsville High School, was employed as a teacher for Jack and Jill Nursery, Eau Claire. The groom, a 1974 graduate of Regis High School in Eau Claire, is self-employed in the concrete construction business.
