On July 7, 1973 Laurie Paull and Clarence Seichter promised to live a life of trust, growth and enrichment as they exchanged their marital vows.

For her wedding, the bride chose an imported Nottingham lace gown with baby doll sleeves. The dress featured a molded bodice with blue satin ribbon trim. From the empire waist fell a gathered skirt with blue satin ribbon trim and a ruffle flounce border. The bride carried a double Topiary ball bouquet of white satin netting and blue mums, accented by flowing blue satin ribbons.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Marlen Vircks, sister of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Denise Paull, daughter of the bride. They wore light blue gowns of polyester knit sewn by Mrs. Marlen Vircks, the bride’s sister. They featured a scooped neckline, baby doll sleeves, empire waist and a full skirt. Each carried a Topiary ball bouquet of light blue nylon netting and pastel mums.

Best man was Jerry Seichter, brother of the groom, and junior groomsman was Scott Paull, son of the bride.

Mother of the bride, Mrs. Polly Szczech, Greenwood, wore a bright orange gown featuring white Nottingham lace. The groom’s mother, Mrs. Margaret Seichter, Boyd, wore a lavender dress trimmed with braided flowers. Each wore corsages of white baby mums and roses to match their dresses.

A reception and dance were held at the American Legion Hall in Thorp.

After a wedding trip through Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, the new family resides at Route 2, Box 31, Boyd, Wisconsin.
