Gregorich, Lorena Ann (11 August 1979)

Lorena Ann Gregorich and Blaine Robert Liebzeit were married in Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard, in early afternoon rites, August 11. The Rev. James Lescynski officiated. With her father giving her away, the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LaVerne Gregorich, Rt. 1 Willard. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Liebzeit, Greenwood.

The bride carried a cascade of red roses, white carnations, colored daisies, ivy and baby’s breath. She chose a gown of white Qiana in a tailored silhouette and featuring a sculptured collar with a heart-shaped sheer English net yoke. The fitted bodice and medallion cuffs on the long-fitted sleeves were adorned with imported, pearled Alencon lace while the flowing skirt ended in a chapel train. She had a matching fingertip length veil with Alencon lace on the head band.

Lisa Gregorich, a sister of the bride from Eau Claire, was maid of honor. She was joined by Diane Westbay and Leianna, a sister of the bride, both of Willard. They wore gowns of pastel color, sheer organza and of the sleeveless style with ruffles at the bottom. The maid of honor’s gown was lavender while the other bridesmaid’s gowns were light green and light blue. They carried bouquets of mixed colored daisies in a colonial style. The bride chose same-colored gowns that her parents chose for their wedding.

The groomsmen, all wearing black tuxedos, included Tom Holms, as bestman and Rick Birkett and Doug Hansen. Ushering were LaVerne Gregorich, Jr., a brother of the bride, and Gaylon Liebzeit. Leland Gregorich, a brother of the bride, was ringbearer while Cassie Lombard served as flower girl. Vocalist for the service was Margie Thomas, accompanied by Cynde Scheuerman.

Following the ceremonies, a dinner reception was held at the parish shelter and hall. Prenuptial events included a rehearsal supper, hosted by the groom’s parents.

The bride is a graduate of Greenwood High School and Mid-State Technical Institute in Marshfield and is employed as a nurses’ aide. The groom, in carpenter trade, also graduated from Greenwood High School and District I Technical Institute, Eau Claire. The couple announced that they would take a wedding trip to Fort Collins, Colorado.
