Boyarski, Walter C. (11 May 1905 – 26 Jul 1973)

Walter Boyarski, 68, former resident of Thorp, died Thursday, July 26, 1973 at Hine Veterans Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 28, 10:00 a.m. at St. Ferdinand’s Catholic Church. Interment was made in Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.

Mr. Boyarski was born May 11, 1905 in the Town of Withee and grew up in the Thorp vicinity. In 1925 he moved to Chciago, Illinois, where he made his home until death.

Surviving him are five sisters, Anna Meske, Thorp, Wisconsin, Leona Swigon, Helen Granacke, Frances Sheperd, all of Chicago, Illinois, and Mary Dygdon of Los Angeles, California; three brothers, Casimer of Thorp, Wisconsin, Joseph and Anthony of Chicago, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley and his parents, Frank and Pauline Boyarski.

Walter was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
