NHS -Classes of ’51 – ’59 (Honored - 1979)

Homecoming activities at NHS, set for Sept. 28 when the Warriors will take on the Stanley-Boyd Orioles, will have a special meaning for those who graduated from NHS between 1951-59, according to present students at the school.

The 1979 students opted to dedicate the game to the classes of 1951 to 1959 and will allow all graduates of those years’ free admission to the 8:00 p.m. game.

Special entertainment will also be supplied by Michelle Wilcox, Roberta Opelt, Angie Schmidt and Jane Kessler, as barbershop singers offering selections from the 1950’s. Also entertaining will be the high school band, under the direction of Randy Schneeberger.

The 1979 students supplied a list of various class leaders from the 1950’s. They include:
