Blasczyk, Annette (7 Jul 1973)
Miss Annette Blasczyk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Blasczyk, became the bride of Kenny Polden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Polden, Eau Claire, Wisconsin in a 12:00 p.m. ceremony performed by Father Stanley Andrejewski at St. Mary’s Czestochowa, Stanley, July 7, 1973. Cheryl Janicki, soloist, was accompanied by Janice Chura as organist.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of sheer organza, featuring wedding band with Chantilly lace and ruffle. The Edwardian sleeves were again trimmed with matching lace as was the chapel length train. Her shoulder length bouffant veil fell from a Juliet headpiece and she carried a bouquet of yellow roses and white gladiolas.
Miss Olga Blasczyk was her sister’s maid of honor, and Jane Polden, the groom’s sister, was bridesmaid. They wore mint green frosted cotton dresses. The empire waist dresses were trimmed in dark green ribbon with long gathered sleeves and a ruffle at the collar and hem. They carried baskets of daisies.
John Eckwright served as best man, with Tony Blasczyk as groomsman. Ushers were David Polden and Kenny Slowiak.
A dinner was held at the church and a dance was held at the Moose Hall in Eau Claire.
After a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin, they will reside at 2724 14th Street, Eau Claire.
