Schwenneker, Alice Marie (29 September 1979)

Grace Lutheran Church in Alma Center was the Saturday afternoon, September 29, site of the marriage of Alice Marie Schwenneker and Robert Galster. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Krosinski of Humbird while the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Galster, Alma Center.

With the Rev. Sasman officiating, the bride chose a traditional gown and carried a bouquet of garden flowers. She walked down the aisle with her father.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Michael Sprinkle, a sister of the bride from Fairchild. Joining her was another sister, Cynthia Heath, Elgin, Ill. Serving as bestman, was Paul Galster, brother of the groom, who was joined by Forest Bandell, Ushering were the couple’s brothers, Joe Schwenneker and LeVerne Galster.

Following the service, a reception was held in the church basement. A three-tiered cake, made by the groom’s aunt, Ruth Ann Swisher, Janesville, was served. That evening, a dance was held at the KOA Pavilion in Hixton. The bride and groom let on a honeymoon to central Montana.
