Porath, Eva (1904? - 10 October 1979)

Funeral services for Eva Porath, a Town of Lynn resident for many years, were held Saturday, October 13, from a La Crosse funeral home. Mrs. Porath, 75, passed away October 10 in St. Francis Hospital in La Crosse after a short illness.

She was born in Pittsville; the deceased was raised in the Town of Lynn for many years.

Surviving her is a son, Glenn, La Crosse; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Naomi) McCutcheon of Galesville and Mrs. Jim (Nancy) Johnson of Waukegan, Ill.; and one sister, in Bend, Ore., thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. And preceding her in death was her husband in 1964; one brother, Lyle Fero, Granton; and one sister, Arlene Breseman, Town of Lynn.

Hymns sung at the services were “Beyond The Sunset” and “Asleep in Jesus.” Pallbearers were her grandsons.

Friends and relatives attending the services from the local area were Marian Breseman and Gene Prust, both of Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Porath, Granton.
