Frank, Mary (23 February 1917 – 25 October 1979)

Mrs. Harold (Mary) Frank, Sr., 62, Merrillan, was dead on arrival at Black River Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 25.

She was born February 23, 1917, near Fairchild to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Eisberner. She married Harold Frank at Winona, Minn., on June 23, 1933,and the moved to Merrillan. She had been employed at several restaurants in Black River Falls.

Survivors include her husband, three sons, Harold, Jr., of Black River Falls, Raymond of Melrose and Merlin of Loves Park, Ill., a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Diane) Johnson of Black River Falls; two brothers, Edward of Eau Claire and Donald of Humbird; four sisters, Mrs. Edward (Helen) Vinton of Eau Claire, Mrs. Walter (Dorothy) Kenkel of DE Smet, S.D., Mrs. Evan (Gertrude) Durst of Fairchild and Elaine Eisberner of Sunnyvale, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services were held Saturday morning in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Alma Center with the Rev. Joseph Marx officiating. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Alma Center. Jensen Funeral Home at Hixton was in charge of arrangements.
