Granton HS Class of 1959 (20 Year - 1979)
Joining together recently at the Bali Hai Supper Club were members of the
Granton High School Class of 1959 for a dinner and program.
Honored were several teachers of the students including Mr. and Mrs. Francis
Steiner, Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Warlum and Olivia Ruchaber.
The group also announced plans for a 1984 reunion with Mrs. Russell Kuehn, John
Opelt, William Hoeft and Howard Rand in charge of arrangements.
Attending the event from out-of-town were Mr./Mrs. Wayne Gardner, Ann Arbor,
Mich; Mr./Mrs. Howard Rand, Marshfield; Mr./Mrs. Fred Portz, Minocqua; Mr./Mrs.
Lewis Schilling, Chicago, Ill.; Mr./Mrs. Don (Lillian Heimke) Filegar, Denver,
Colo.; Mr./Mrs. Milton (JoAnn Dahl) Haskins, Berlin; and John Opelt, Oak Creek.
Attending from the Granton-Chili area were Mr./Mrs. Howard Jennings, Mr./Mrs.
Milton Garbisch, Mr./Mrs. William Dankemyer, Jr., Mr./Mrs. Tony Bezlyk, Mr/Mrs.
Russel (Margaret Canfield) Kuehn, Mr./Mrs. Mac Coyle, Mr./Mrs. Robert Dahlke,
Mr./Mrs. William Hoeft, Mr./Mrs. Verlyn (Frieda Wesenberg) Rollins, Mr./Mrs.
