Ford Dealer Wins Award (1973)

Thorp Sales & Service, Inc., Thorp, Wisconsin, received Ford Division’s Golden
Shovel Award; it was announced by Charles W. Crowe, Ford Division Milwaukee
Manager. The award is given to dealerships which have constructed new
facilities. Receiving the award was Frank Winiarczyk. The new dealership
contains 14,000 square feet with 24 service stalls, new and used sales
facilities, etc. It replaces the facility formerly located on Washington Street.
Thorp Sales & Servcie, Inc., observed their 20th years as a Ford dealer in July
of this year (1973).
