Baumel, Frank (1892 – 29 December 1959)

Frank Baumel, 67, 145 W. MacArthur Ave., died Tuesday morning at Luther Hospital.

He had been a resident of Eberlein Claire the past three years, coming here from Berwyn, Ill. He was superintendent of mails in the Chicago post office for 41 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Sunrise Masonic Lodge of Chicago.

Funeral services will be held at1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Smith Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth Ham officiating. Friends may call at Smith’s this afternoon and evening and Thursday until time of services. Interment will be at the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mr. Baumel is survived by his wife, Frieda, of Eau Claire; a daughter, Mrs. George H. Norton, of Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Marie) Gehrt of Neillsville and Mrs. Ward (Ella) Lockman, of Columbia, a brother, George of Bensenville, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
