Anderson, Patricia (2 November 1952 – 22 October 2021)

Pat M. Anderson, 68, Thorp, passed away October 22, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Health System, Eau Claire, surrounded by her family.

Patricia Marie Anderson was born November 2, 1952, in Stanley to Edward and Florence (Kaleta)
Romanowski. She attended the Reseburg School, Thorp Elementary, and graduated from Thorp High in 1970. After Graduation, she worked at Porky’s in Cudahy. Pat moved back to Thorp and was employed at Thorp Finance (ITT). In 1971, Pat met Butch, the love of her life. On Sept 16, 1972, Pat and Butch were united in marriage in Stanley at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and resided in Thorp, where they raised their three sons, Jesse, Jamis, and Jarrett.

She then became the first manager of the Thorp Express Mart Convenient Store for 38 years until she retired in 2019. Pat was involved in many activities, including women’s bowling league, Horseshoe League, and Beanbags. She enjoyed camping, gardening, playing cards, Aggravation, and baking special treats for her kids and grandkids. Pat was a faithful wife of 49 years, a loving and caring mother, who was always there to listen, grandmother who loved to spoil her grandchildren and went above and beyond for them. She was a true and dedicated friend to many.

Pat will be dearly missed by her husband Butch of Thorp; her sons, Jesse (Angela Eberhardt) of Eau Claire, Jamis (Suzanne) of Thorp, Jarrett (Lana) of Thorp; her grandchildren Brooklynn, Carson, Connor, Brodey, Parker, Ashton, Brantley, Breken, and Chloe; her sister Rita Teschler of Thorp; her brother-in-law Dennis (Chris) Anderson of Stanley; sister-in-law Janice Swim of Eau Claire; sister-in-law Deb (Larry) Taylor of Minnesota, and lifelong friends Calvin and Jean Schultze of Stanley; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Eddie, John, Rich, and Tom; her mother and father-in-law, Lucille and LaMoine Anderson; and sister-in-law Diane Anderson.

A memorial service will be held 11 A.M. on Friday, October 29, 2021, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church-Stanley with Pastor Kenneth Schmidt officiating. Inurnment in Evergreen Cemetery will take place at a later date. Visitation will be 4-8 P.M. on Thursday at the Plombon Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
