Perry, Evelyn Grace (13 November 1935 – 25 October 2021)

Evelyn Grace Perry (Bergh), 85, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Clark County Nursing Home.

Evelyn was born November 13, 1935, in Chetek, the daughter of Andrew and Grace (Richards) Bergh. Her maternal grandparents were James and Florence Richards (Chetek) and her paternal grandparents were Jonas and Randi Bergh (Eau Claire). She was married in July 1959, in Milwaukee, to Thomas Perry. She enjoyed homemaking, visiting with family, and loved going fishing in her younger years.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Perry; her children, Laurie (Robert) Rauk, Neillsville, Valerie (Life Partner – Tom Zettinig) Perry; one brother, Douglas (Peggy) Bergh, Endeavor, and one sister Mildred (Paul) Gorichs, Surprise, Arizona; three grandchildren, Christina Rauk, Thomas Perry, and Daniel F.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Reginald Perry, and daughter, Julie Ann Perry; her grandsons, Jesse David Rauk, Taylor James Rauk; her brothers Jonas Bergh, Oregon, William “Dave” Bergh, Endeavor, Tim Bergh, Florida; one sister, Lucille Rogers, Oregon; her half-brother, Jim; her half-sisters, Florence Kruckenberg and Bernice Sanders.

Visitation will be from 10 am to 11 am Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Doug Bjerke officiating. Interment of cremains will follow at Marie Louise Chapel in Christie. Small lunch to follow.
