Lundstrom, Caroline (2 Sep 1893 – 8 Jan 1974)

Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Lundstrom were held at the Kok Funeral Home in St. Paul Park, Minn. on January 11, 1974.

Mrs. Lundstrom (nee Caroline De Forth) was the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter De Forth. She was born at Thorp, Wisconsin on September 2, 1893 and moved with her parents to St. Paul Park in 1905, where she attended St. Paul Park Public Schools. She did Nursery Governess work for several years in St. Paul.

In December 1930 she was united to Charles Lundstrom of St. Paul, where they lived until his death in 1936, following which Mrs. Lundstrom again made her home in St. Paul Park and worked in St. Paul.

In 1956 Mrs. Lundstrom took residence in Bayport, Minnesota, where she lived for eleven years, until 1967, when she broke her hip, from which she never entirely recovered. This necessitated her making her home at the Maranatha Baptist Home in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, until her death on January 8, 1974.

While living in Bayport, Mrs. Lundstrom was active in First Baptist Church of Stillwater, a member of the W.C.T.U, and the Senior Citizens Group of Stillwater.

Those surviving are: her sisters, Mrs. Alma D. Ballard, Roxbury, New York and Miss Flora E. De Forth, St. Paul Park, and brothers, Chester W. De Forth, Glendive, Montana, and Marlyn A. De Forth, St. Paul Park; also six nieces and two nephews.
