Dahl, Ed H. (3 June 1900 – 19 February 1980)

A former Town of York resident, Ed H. Dahl, passed away on the morning of February 19 in a Clintonville hospital. Mr. Dahl, who was 79 at the time of his death, was a Clintonville area resident.

He was born on June 3, 1900, in Waupaca County to Mr. and Mrs. John Dahl. As a young child, he moved with his family to the Town of York in Clark County. In 1923, he married Verla Rose in Town of York ceremonies and the couple moved to the Chippewa Falls area where he was employed as a cheesemaker for a number of years.

Surviving him is one daughter, Mrs. William ( Hazel) Miller, rural Clintonville; one son, Alvin, Loyal; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Elsie) Stark of Marshfield and Mrs. Viola Foemmel of Colby; two brothers, Arthur and Arnold, both of Granton; five grandchildren, four step grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; and one step great-great grandchild.

The funeral services were to be held Thursday morning from the Eberhardt Funeral Home in Clintonville with the Rev. James Magelssen officiating. Burial in the spring is to be made in the Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville.
