Foelkl, Teresa (10 November 1881 – 19 February 1980)

Mrs. Theresa (Bachman) Foelkl, 98, of Black River Falls, died Tuesday, February 19, in the Black River Falls Hospital. She was born November 10, 1881, in Yugoslavia to August and Katherine Borcheller, the deceased later married Peter Bachman in that country. The couple later moved to St. Paul, Mn., and later to Clark County.

In 1940, her husband died. She later married Joseph Foelkl and moved back to St. Paul, later moving to Black River Falls after the death of her second husband.

Surviving her is one son, Joseph Bachman, Fort Myers, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Adolph (Katherine) Borufka of Black River Falls and Ann Schoen of Jackson Hole, Wyo.; seven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, February 21, from Torgerson’s Funeral Chapel in Black River Falls. The Rev. Ray Biggers officiated with burial made in the Riverside Cemetery, Black River Falls.
