Fischer, Louise H. (30 Jan 1901 – 26 Jan 1974)

Mrs. Louise H. Fischer, 72, of the town of Wilson, Boyd, passed away Saturday morning, January 26, 1974 at her home.

Funeral services were held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Town of Wilson, Tuesday, January 29, 10:30 a.m., with Father Raymond Peters officiating. Burial was made in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Thorp. Pallbearers were: Jack Macomber, Peter Wagner, Andrew Schmitt, George, Gindt, Joe Raycher and James Raycher.

Louis Jiras was born January 30, 1901 at Oxford, Iowa. On January 25, 1920 she was united at Bismarck, North Dakota to Anton Fischer, who preceded her in death in 1965.

She moved to the Thorp area, and in 1950 moved to the Town of Wilson, where they owned and operated the Wilson General Store.

She is survived by one son, Charles Fischer, Town of Wilson; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Henry Fischer, El Paso, Texas; three brothers, George Jiras, Chicago, William Jiras, Wing, North Dakota, Joseph Jiras, Baldwin, North Dakota; two sisters, Mrs. McKinley Young, Baldwin, North Dakota, and Mrs. Phillip Monroe, Wilton, North Dakota; and three grandchildren.

Besides being preceded in death by her husband, one son, Henry, preceded her in death.
