Horovisich, Frank (20 May 1896 – 8 March 1980)

Frank Horovisich, 83, of Merrillan, died Saturday, March 8, in the Tomah Veteran’s Administration Hospital.

He was born May 20, 1896, in Gradno, Russia. He married Viola Laughingwell in May 1940. They owned and operated a restaurant in Black River Falls. He worked in Milwaukee, Fort McCoy and on the railroad.

Survivors include one stepdaughter, Mrs. Pearline Madland, Merrillan, five step grandchildren and 18 step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1959.

Services were held Wednesday morning in the Torgerson Funeral Chapel in Black River Falls, with the Rev. Gordon Johnson officiating, with burial being made in the Hatfield Cemetery.
