Hauge, Karen Denice (9 October 1943 – 6 July 2019)

Karen D. Hauge, 75, of Loyal, passed away at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, surrounded by family on Saturday, July 6, 2019. Private family graveside interment will take place at the Linden Cemetery in Linden, at a later date.

Karen Denice Wicks was born on October 9, 1943, in Galena, IL to James (Red) and Juanita (Bennett) Wicks. She was raised and educated in southern Wisconsin and graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1961. She was united in marriage to Roger M. Hauge on October 14, 1968. Over the years, Karen worked in the secretarial field for various companies until retiring to Arkansas in 2004. She later returned to Wisconsin to be closer to her family after her husband's death in 2012.

She had many interests, but especially enjoyed her pets, camping, fishing, making crafts, playing bingo, going to the casino, visiting the zoo's, crocheting, games, puzzles, collecting elephants and visiting with her family and friends.

Karen is survived by 2 sons: Frank (Geri) Hauge of Friendship, and Nathan (Kim) Hauge of Loyal; 3 stepdaughters: Rena ( Louis) Vincato of Hancock, MI, Rhonda (Dennis) Bromund of Marinette, and Jennifer Lewis of DeRidder, LA; her very special foster daughter: Cinda (Kim) Klema of Wauzeka, brother: Greg (Becca) Wicks of Ridgeway, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Roger, her brother: Roger Wicks, and her grandson: Tyler Saunier.
