Jelinski, Sadie Jayne Devine (1 March 1982 – 25 June 2020)

Sadie J. Devine-Jelinski, age 38, of Withee, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at Mayo Clinic Health System, in Eau Claire, surrounded by her loving family.

Sadie Jayne Devine was born on March 1, 1982, at Medford Memorial Hospital, in Medford, the daughter of William J. and Susan L. (Nordlof) Devine. She was raised and received her education in Owen, graduating from Owen-Withee High School in 2000. On her first day of class, while attending UW-Superior, she met the love of her life, Steven M. Jelinski. They were united in marriage on August 30, 2003, at the Meadowview Golf Course in Owen. They resided in Moose Lake, MN, where she was a stay-at-home mother, raising their three children.

Sadie was a very active member of the Moose Lake Covenant Church, until moving to Withee, in April 2019.

She had many interests, but especially loved art and spending time with her children and family.
Sadie will be dearly missed by her husband, Steve, of Withee; her children: Carys, Canon and Jax, all at home; her parents: Bill (Sue) Devine of Owen; one brother: Quincy (Jessica) Devine of Withee, and their children, Macy and Palmer; her maternal grandmother: Muriel Nordlof of Hawaii; her mother-in-law: Patricia Jelinski of Thorp; her father-in-law: Lawrence Jelinski of Milwaukee; her sister-in-law: Diane (Randy) Langstraat of Grand Junction, CO; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Peter and Charlotte Devine, and her maternal grandfather, Donald Nordlof.

A Celebration of Sadie's Life will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at the Meadowview Golf Course, in Owen, with a coffee hour from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. followed by an Irish wake.
