Clark Co.-Mid State (Grad/Honors - 1980)

Several area students are among those graduating or recently receiving honors at Mid-State Technical Institute’s Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids campuses, according to school officials.

At May 21 graduation ceremonies in Marshfield, several Neillsville students received diplomas. Included were Brad Goetz, R. 3, a one-year diploma in farm operations; Valerie Meredith, Rt. 5, a one-year diploma in the medical assistant program, Kathie Raap, Rt. 1, and Bruce Tibbett, Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Tibbett, Sr., Rt. 3 both with one-year diplomas in a wood techniques program; and Mary Spencer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Spencer, Rt. 5 with a one-semester diploma in a ward clerk program.

In May, 22 ceremonies at Wisconsin Rapids campus, two Neillsville students were to receive diplomas. They were Jon Counsell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Counsell, Rt. 1, two-year associate degree in personnel; and Gloria Thoma, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma, Rt. 3, one-year diploma in child care services.
