The Strum Immanuel Lutheran Church was the May 31 site for the afternoon wedding of Nancy Jean Spiegel and Michael Jerome Rosman. The Reverends Luther Monson and Allen Ness officiated. Nancy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Spiegel, Rt. 2 Granton. Her father presented her to her new husband, Michael, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Jerome Rosman, Rt. 1 Strum.

Serving as maid of honor was Cheryl Anason, Strum. She was joined in the party by Ginger Spiegel, Granton, Kelly Christie, Neillsville and Lina Rosman, Strum.

Serving as best man was Brian Spangberg, Eau Claire. He was assisted by Steve Alf, Ellsworth, Don Crandall, La Crosse and David Rosman, Strum. Tonya Bjorge served as the flower girl, while Mark Rosman was the ringbearer. Ushers were Gary Spiegel and LaVerne Rosman.

The bride wore an original, hand-knit dress, with crocheted filet insets, made with white baby yarn, and a lace-covered garden hat; she carried a cascading silk bouquet of white orchids, pink roses, baby’s breath and blue and yellow daisies. The bridesmaids wore blue floral dresses with capelets, and they caried crocheted baskets with silk white, blue and yellow daisies, pink roses and baby’s breath.

The ceremony was accompanied by soloist Allen Campbell and organist Thomas Auger. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church Parish Hall, and a dance was held at the Osseo Palladium.

The bride is a 1977 graduate of Neillsville High School and will be a 1981 graduate of UW-Eau Claire, where she is studying special education. The groom, a 1976 graduate of Eleva-Strum Central High and a 1979 graduate of District I Technical Institute, is an accountant at CESA 6,Chippewa Falls. The couple is planning a camping trip honeymoon and planning to reside in Eau Claire.
