Haugen, Jule “Jack” (11 May 1908 – 16 Mar 1974)

Jule “Jack” Haugen, 65, died Saturday night at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire.

He was born May 11, 1908 at Menomonie, Wisconsin. He came to the Worden (Clark Co.) area when he was young and grew up in the area and lived and farmed in Worden until 1960, when he moved to Stanley.

A native of Menomonie, he had been a Stanley resident since 1960..

Surviving are two brothers, Phillip and Alvin, both of rural Stanley; four sisters, Mrs. Sam Samuelson, Stanley, Mrs. Charles McGinnis, Plano, Illinois, Alice Haugen, Wausau, Hilda Haugen, St. Paul, Minnesota; two nieces.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday from the Plombon Funeral Home, with the Rev. Norman L. Sifferath officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
