When Louis Gruszynski visited the Thorp Care Center this past week, he was shown
a plaque by Miss Rice, Administrator, which acknowledged efforts on his part to
bring such an institution to the Thorp community. The plaque located in the
foyer of the building reads: “Thorp Care Inc. gratefully acknowledges the
generous contribution most benevolently donated by Mr. Louis Gruszynski and the
City of Thorp, Wisconsin.
