Vollrath, Vicki Lee (25 July 1980)

The United Methodist Church in Loyal was the Friday afternoon, July 25, site for the sharing of marital vows between Vicki Lee Vollrath and James Robert Bogdonovich, both of Willard. The Rev. Charles Sanford officiated.

An uncle of the bride, Kenneth Vollrath, presented her to the altar. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bogdonovich, Rt. 1 Willard.

Darla Steffen, a friend of the bride from Greenwood, served as maid of honor. She was joined by Barb Bravener, a friend from Loyal. Lori Trunkel was flower girl.

Harry Johnson, a friend of the groom from Loyal, was best man. He was joined by Randy Bogdonovich, the groom’s brother from Willard. Ushering were Bobby Auman of Greenwood, a friend of the couple; and Dean Lesar, a Willard Cousin.

“The Wedding Song,” “Your Song” and “Songbird” were the special music selections offered at the service by Debby Auman.

Mrs. Harold Dillenbeck made the wedding cake and gave it to the couple as a wedding present. Mrs. Eldray North assisted in serving the guests.

The bride chose a long, empire gown with chinchilla lace trim and sleeves of the same lace. She carried a spring bouquet. Her attendants were attired in long blue dresses, featuring a floral print, they carried carnations, blue spring flowers and fern sprigs. The groom and his attendants chose black trimmed white tuxedo jackets and black slacks.

Following the service, a reception was held at the James Bogdonovich residence.

The bride and groom both graduated from Greenwood High School. The groom also attended District I Technical Institute, Eau Claire, he is now working on his father’s farm. The couple will make their home on Rt. 1 Willard.
