Elpert. Richard A. (29 September 1956 – 3 March 2022)

Richard A. Elpert, age 65, of Unity, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at the Marshfield Medical Center.

Dick was born on September 29, 1956, the son of Ewald and Carmen (Schmidke) Elpert in Marshfield. He worked for Northwest Hardwoods in Dorchester for over 40 years retiring in December of 2020.

Dick enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching westerns and drinking Budweiser. He had a good heart and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Richard is survived by his son: Daniel (Amber Filipiak) Elpert of Unity. He is further survived by five brothers and two sisters: Darrel (Barb) of Unity, Dennis of Unity, Tom (Sandy) of Spencer, James (Renee) of Unity, Robert (Debra) of Unity, Susie (Jerry) Haufe of Colby and Sandy Cliver of Unity; a sister-in-law: Linda Elpert of Unity, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Bill and Ken Elpert.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
