Two Colby High School students were recent “A” winners in the District Future Homemakers Association Demonstration Contest held at Thorp.

Mary Peissig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Peissig, Dorchester, received an “A” in the senior division. Her topic was “the art of Applique.”

Kathy Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. (name missing?) Schultz receive an “A” in the junior division. Her topic was “timely tips for tending toddlers.”

Both girls are now eligible to give their demonstrations at the State Fair.
