Jagerink, Barbara Lee (7 Apr 1973)

Miss Barbara Lee Jagerink and Mark Louis Schjoneman were wed during a 6 p.m. nuptial ceremony performed by the Rev. Kenneth Dix in the First United Church of Christ at Colby, Saturday, April 7, 1973.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jagerink, Route 1, Oostburg was given in marriage by her father to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin L. Schjoneman, Colby. Miss Karen Wampler, Marshfield, was soloist.

The bride wore a white taffeta and lace A-line gown and a long tiered veil with bridal headpiece. She carried white daisies with baby’s breath and other miscellaneous small white flowers.

The bride’s attendants were Mrs. Rodney Wiegele of Sheboygan, the matron of honor, and Miss Julie Scidmore and Miss Dawn Leonard, both of Marshfield, and Miss Sandy Haartman, Oostburg, the bridesmaids.

Each carried a bouquet of daisies and wore a floral crepe halter dress and purple hat.

Flower girl was Deanne Wiegele and ring bearer, Jeff Seefluth.

Others in the wedding party were Allen Schjoneman, Colby, best man; Greg Gorke, Abbotsford, Kirk Schjoneman, Medford, and Randy Tessmer, Colby, groomsmen, and Rodney Wiegele, Sheboygan and Robert Allmann, Abbotsford, ushers.

The church ceremony was followed by a 7:30 p.m. dinner and a 9 o’clock dance, both at the Village Plaza at Spencer.
